There is no doubt that drones can be a particular problem in the superyacht industry.

Hobbyists flying close to marinas can cause injuries and damage to expensive equipment, nefarious users such as terrorists can creatively deliver explosives or toxins, whilst paparazzi can use the technology to ply their trade.  

Current aviation authorities’ legislations allow drones to legally fly within short distances of private and commercial property, and have rapidly become the biggest threat to marine privacy and security.
